1.1.5 — 1.1.5 Release 2026-10-13
  • New: Reschedule
    • Move a contract or quote to new dates in one go, along with all of its days of work.
    • Find it on the Contract Overview, the Daybook, the Employee and Fleet timelines, and the Allocations screen.
    • You'll see who's free on the new dates, and a summary to check before anything is saved.
    • Allocations already sent to a phone will be sent again with the new dates. Ask your employees to delete the old timesheet first.
  • New: Drag and Drop on the Daybook
    • Drag an event to a different day to reschedule it.
    • On the Employee and Fleet timelines, drag it to another row to swap the employee or fleet.
    • Nothing changes until you confirm.
  • New: Choose What to Copy
    • When copying a quote or contract, you can now pick exactly what comes across - details, equipment, employees and fleet, movement orders and Job Pack documents.
  • Job Pack
    • Clearer buttons for uploading files and adding links.
    • Job Pack downloads now work on phones and tablets.
    • Links sent to the mobile app now expire 7 days after the job finishes.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed Convert to Contract sometimes staying greyed out when the quote was complete.
    • Fixed larger files failing to upload to a Job Pack.
    • Fixed employees or fleet sometimes still showing on a job after they'd been removed.
    • Fixed copies of quotes and contracts staying linked to the original.
    • Fixed allocations sometimes being duplicated when a contract was sent again.
    • Fixed the unsaved changes warning appearing when nothing had changed.
1.1.4 — 1.1.4 Release 2026-09-21
  • New functionality: Job Pack
    • Quotes and contracts now have a Job Pack section to allow you to add documents which employees might need on site.
    • Files have the ability to create public link which can be shared to anyone who has the link.
    • The Contract Overview has a Job Pack card alongside Movement Orders, with a count and a link through to Edit when there is nothing attached yet.
    • The details window opened from the Daybook, the Employee and Fleet timelines and the Allocations screen shows the Job Pack too.
    • Calendar items carry a Job Pack count badge beside the movement order badge, so you can see at a glance whether a job has its paperwork.
  • New Mobile functionality: Job Pack
    • When a Job Pack has been added via the Quote/Contract workflow and sent to the allocation and will be sent down as a link for users to click on to access.
  • New View: File Management
    • A new File Management page lists every file and link stored across your account in one place.
    • Storage shows how much of your allowance is in use, with a bar and a count of files and links.
    • Each file shows its size, who uploaded it and when, what it is linked to, and whether it has a public link.
    • Files can be deleted or shared from here, and a problem with a file can be reported to us with its details attached.
    • The page is permission controlled, so only people with elevated permissions can see it.
  • New functionality: Photos on Fleet Defects
    • A defect can now have photos attached - up to 5 images, in PNG or JPEG, within the size limit shown on the page.
    • The photos appear on the Defect Report, so what was reported can be seen rather than only described.
    • Defects already recorded, and any images with them, have been carried over automatically.
  • Quote Improvements/Changes
    • Reduced the amount of details needed in order to raise a quote.
    • Convert to Contract functionality has been changed to alert the user what information needs adding before it can be converted to a Contract
    • A quote with no hire dates is kept off the Daybook rather than shown on a date it was never given, and its PDF prints "TBC" in place of those dates.
    • On Hire and Off Hire dates are set and cleared together, so a quote is never left holding only one of them.
    • Expiry Date is no longer filled in for you, is checked as you type rather than only when you save, and cannot be set in the past.
  • Quote & Contracts Saving Improvements/Changes
    • Added a new Save option to remain on the page after saving.
    • New overlay has been added to clearly show when a page is saving
    • Where a document is locked, the banner above the form and the tooltips on the buttons explain that only the Status will be saved.
  • New functionality: Terms and Conditions Formatting
    • Terms and conditions are now written in a formatting editor, with bold, colour, lists, tables, links and images.
    • That formatting now carries through to the quote and contract PDFs, rather than arriving as visible code.
    • Links in the PDFs stay clickable.
    • Terms already saved have been carried over as they were.
  • General Improvements
    • The details window opened from the calendar and the Allocations screen now uses the same collapsible cards as the Contract Overview, so a section can be folded away and the same job reads the same way everywhere. Its sections take the colour of the event they belong to.
    • That window no longer closes when you click beside it, so a click while editing allocations cannot lose your place. The X, the Close button and the Escape key still close it.
    • Badges on calendar items now wrap onto the next line instead of running off the edge of the card.
    • The 3 Day view shows one full day at a time on a phone, rather than splitting two days then one across the screen.
    • The Daybook and timeline day headers keep the date together with its employee and fleet counts.
    • The page tour on the quote and contract pages now covers the Job Pack section along with the rest.
    • Uploaded files are checked to be genuinely the format they claim to be, not just named that way, public links are limited to a sensible rate so they cannot be hammered, and the link that carries you back after saving is checked to stay within CapjaDesk.
    • Where someone has restricted access to quotes and contracts, the section still says how many documents are attached and that permission is needed to open them.
    • UI fixes and optimisations have been made to the Quote and Contract areas.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed a locked quote or contract not saving at all when any required field was blank. This blocked the status-only save, and on a contract blocked marking it Approved or Signed to send it through to allocation.
    • Fixed the Edit Quote page skipping the required-field check that the Add page runs.
    • Fixed the quick date buttons on the Edit Quote page not always applying the date.
    • Fixed selecting an existing customer not filling the customer details reliably.
    • Fixed the unsaved changes warning appearing more than once on pages with several forms, and the browser's own plain warning appearing when leaving with Back.
    • Fixed some pages not warning about unsaved changes at all, and leaving a Settings tab asking about them over and over.
    • Fixed the links from the Contract Overview into Edit returning you to the Contracts list instead of back to the Overview.
    • Fixed messages from the Add pages, such as the quote number a new quote was given, surfacing later on a list page instead of at the time.
    • Fixed event cards clipping their right edge in a narrow column.
1.1.3 — 1.1.3 Release 2026-09-02
  • New functionality: Availability Panel
    • A new Availability panel is available on the Daybook, Employee Timeline and Fleet Timeline. It slides in beside the calendar so you can check who and what is free without losing your place.
    • Open it from the Availability button in the toolbar, or from the new pull-tab on the edge of the screen.
    • Every employee and vehicle is colour coded for the dates you are viewing, and can be opened up to show the bookings behind it.
    • Search the panel by name, group, type or registration to find an Employee/Fleet quickly.
    • The panel stays where you left it as you move between the Daybook and the timelines, and refreshes on its own whenever you save a change.
    • On smaller screens it opens from the bottom of the page instead, so the calendar stays readable.
  • New functionality: Editing Allocations From the Calendar
    • Opening an event now shows an editable list of its allocations, so employees and fleet can be reassigned without leaving the calendar.
    • Anyone already booked elsewhere on those dates is highlighted as you pick them, so clashes are visible before you save.
    • Fleet options follow the group and type the contract asks for.
  • New functionality: Movement Orders
    • Quotes and contracts can now record movement orders, each with an order number, expiry date and notes.
    • Add and edit them in the new Movement Orders section on the add and edit pages for both quotes and contracts, above Employees & Fleet. An order number is required.
    • Movement orders are listed on the contract Overview page.
    • A badge on the calendar item in the Daybook and timelines shows their status at a glance - green while in date, amber within 5 days of expiry, and red once expired - with the full list inside the event details.
    • Converting a quote to a contract carries its movement orders across. Copying a quote or contract starts with none, because the copy has no fleet assigned to it yet.
  • Daybook and Allocations Improvements
    • Search now looks across the whole event - title, notes, employees and fleet - instead of the title alone, and works the same way on the Daybook, Employee Timeline and Fleet Timeline.
    • Employee and fleet dropdowns can be searched by name, group, type or registration.
    • Event details now open in a wider window, laid out in up to three columns and stacking down to one on mobile.
    • All-day events are labelled as such rather than showing 00:00 start and end times.
    • Email addresses in the event details can be clicked to start an email.
    • Details window now has a Close button, and longer ones scroll with the title and buttons kept in view.
    • The Availability panel is on the Allocations screen too, and follows the contract's own hire dates while a contract is open.
    • Clicking a contract number now opens the same details view used in the Daybook, including its movement orders and the editable allocations list.
    • The Employee and Fleet columns have been tidied up, with hover text for anything too long to fit, and the unused End Time column removed.
    • Dropdowns open faster on busy schedules and show "Loading..." while they fetch, so out of date options are never shown.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed dates on allocations and movement orders shifting by a day in some cases.
    • Fixed a saved list of movement orders or Employees & Fleet being lost when one row was left without a date.
    • Fixed the "Missing Required Fields" message on the Add Contract, Edit Contract and Edit Quote pages naming internal field names instead of the field labels shown on screen.
    • Fixed dropdowns holding on to an old selection after the values behind them had changed.
    • Fixed some items showing two hover tips at once. Hover help now behaves the same across the site and can be reached with the keyboard.
1.1.2-beta — 1.1.2 Beta Release 2026-07-30
  • Daybook updates
    • Updates to employee and fleet daybook views to ensure allocations are shown only where applicable to the relevant employee or fleet assigned, even for partial assignments rather than entire contracts.
